Question: Will you sell me the upfitting equipment without Farmbro doing the installation?
Answer: All Weather Guard equipment comes complete with instructions for do-it- yourself installation. In most cases, contractors’ time is better spent in revenue generating activities. All our technicians are trained and experienced in the complete product line.
Question: What can I expect to pay for upfitting my van?
Answer: Upfits can range in price from a few hundred to thousands of dollars depending on the amount of equipment required by the end user. We can install in stages to help spread out the cost of the upfit or work with car dealers or lease companies to finance the installation into the cost of the vehicle. We can also arrange financing if requested.
Question: How long do I have to leave my van at Farmbro to have it upfitted?
Answer: We schedule installations to suit our customer’s requirements and personal schedules. Installations can be less than an hour to several days depending on the amount of equipment to be installed. We inventory the complete Weather Guard product line such that, installations can be scheduled the next day. If we don’t have it in stock, it may take up to 2 weeks for product to come in.
Question: If I visit Farmbro can I see sample equipment I want to purchase?
Answer: Our showroom is stocked with a selection of equipment to show customers the product they are interested in. Our unique “show van” and “showroom pickup box” feature Weather Guard equipment as it would be installed in your vehicle. You see exactly how it will work for you. If you need to see an item not featured in the showroom, we can draw it from stock and show it to you.
Question: Do you have any special discounts for trades people?
Answer: We offer complete package pricing and discounts based on order size and fleet size. Dealerships and lease companies qualify for discounts to entice their assistance in selling our products.
Question: Will you remove old equipment on my van and install new equipment?
Answer: One of the advantages of Weather Guard products is their ability to be removed from a vehicle and re-installed in a new comparable vehicle. We routinely are asked to transfer product from vehicle to vehicle. If you need some of your old equipment removed to facilitate the installation of new equipment, we’d be more than happy to do this for you.
Question: Can I lease a new van with all the upfitting equipment installed?
Answer: Lease companies are more than happy to add the upfit equipment cost into the lease vehicle package. “Work Ready” vehicle leases allow you to manage the cost and there may be a residual left on the equipment if left with the vehicle.
Question: Can I finance my upfitting work with Farmbro?
Answer: We can arrange financing for equipment but we do not offer financing at Farmbro. We also accept major credit cards.
