U.S. Importation of Truck Bodies:
Farmbro handles the logistics of importation and transportation of US manufactured truck bodies into Canada for a number of national fleets. Our Mississauga location provides an entry point and staging area to perform some final stage quality inspections, minor equipment additions and/or modification and release for distribution across Canada.
Rail Adaptive Equipment:
Farmbro specializes in vehicles requiring rail adaptive equipment for use by regional and national rail transportation companies. The equipment we install ranges from simple truck cap installations to service bodies equipped with cranes, on board air compressors, welding equipment in addition to rail adaptive equipment. Vehicles serviced range from mid-sized pickup trucks to Class 8 medium and heavy trucks.
Van GPS and Satellite Tracking System Installations:
Farmbro provides special van modifications for fleet operators when taking over direct distribution of products or the parcel delivery of products. Vans have been equipped with on board visual and audio monitoring systems with GPS and satellite tracking capabilities. Prototypes and execution of large fleet modification programs are frequently based on time sensitive customer’s requirements.
Upfitting Services for Work Vans and Trucks:
Farmbro provides exclusive upfitting services for medium and large corporate fleet operators. Projects include the design and fabrication of a number of unique items for corporate and individual customers. A full selection of Weather Guard storage systems, bulkheads, shelving, and ladder racks are available to meet every possible need. Assembly line production methods are used for product and service compliance.
Customized Van and Truck Modifications for
Bucket and Engineering Work:
Farmbro serves as the supplier of choice for Cable Service providers with fleet vehicles throughout the Canadian Provinces. Farmbro assists customers with designing interior van packages for maintenance, bucket truck and engineering applications.
Fleet Van and Truck Equipment Maintenance Repairs:
Farmbro will schedule a regular maintenance program for van and truck fleets to repair operating equipment, replace damaged or defective equipment or add special equipment with minimal vehicle “down time”. This flow-through service controls the quality of service by using one location and thus, the work force and expertise are of a consistent high level.
Custom Van and Truck 4 X 4 and All Wheel Drive Conversions:
Conversions are provided for light and heavy duty vans and trucks needing superior traction for extreme weather conditions or unique land/road applications. Farmbro is the supplier of choice for construction companies, national delivery firms, energy field operations, mining, TV news operations and emergency vehicles.
Van Lift-Gates and Truck Platform Lift Systems:
Specialized equipment for wheelchair applications and rear truck lift gate systems are installed by Farmbro’s upfitting professionals.
Vehicle Steering Conversions for Commercial Applications:
Fleet vehicles can have their steering converted to the right side to meet unique work challenges or for those special applications requiring higher work efficiencies or safety considerations.
